Every creator hits a week where the camera is ready but the ideas are not. It’s normal, and it doesn’t mean you’ve run out of things to share. It usually means you need a simple list to pick from.
eXantria is a content creators platform where fans subscribe to the people they follow. This guide gives you 30 content ideas for creators on eXantria, sorted into five themes. They work whether you post photos, videos, cosplay, fitness, art, music, cooking or written updates. Pick a few each week and drop them into your weekly posting schedule.
Why fresh ideas matter on eXantria
Your subscribers pay a monthly fee to see what you create next, so a steady flow of new posts is what keeps them renewing. eXantria’s Terms of Service also set a minimum for creators who charge a monthly subscription: at least 2 posts per week and 10 posts per month available to paid subscribers.
A ready list of ideas makes that minimum easy. When you know what you’ll post, you spend your time creating instead of staring at a blank screen.
Theme 1: Behind the scenes
Fans love seeing how your work comes together. These posts are quick to make and feel personal.
- Your setup: show your desk, studio corner, lighting or camera gear.
- Before and after: a raw shot next to the finished, edited version.
- Work in progress: a costume, drawing or recipe halfway done.
- Outtakes: the funny or imperfect shots that didn’t make the main set.
- Packing for a shoot: what goes in your bag and why.
- A day in your life: a short photo diary of a normal working day.
Theme 2: Teach something
Sharing what you know builds trust and gives fans a reason to come back.
- A quick tip from your niche, such as a posing angle, a stretch or a brush technique.
- Your editing steps for one photo, explained in three short points.
- Beginner mistakes you made and how you fixed them.
- A mini tutorial in a short video or a photo series.
- Budget-friendly tricks for props, costumes, sets or ingredients.
- “How I’d do it again”: look back at an old project and explain what you’d change.
Theme 3: Let fans shape your content
When fans help decide what you post, they feel part of it. eXantria supports private messaging and other ways to interact, so use them.
- “What should I post next?” Offer two or three options and let fans choose.
- A Q&A post that answers the questions fans send you most.
- Theme requests: ask for color, outfit or location ideas, then create the winner.
- A thank-you post for a subscriber milestone.
- Fan favorites: revisit your most-liked post and share new, unseen shots from the same session.
- Reply round-up: after you answer messages, share a general summary of what fans asked about (never share anyone’s private messages or names).
Theme 4: Series and routines
A recurring series gives fans something to look forward to, and it removes the “what now?” question for you.
- A weekly theme day, such as “Monday Moodboard” or “Friday Favorites.”
- A monthly challenge: 30 days of one skill, with a progress update each week.
- Then and now: compare an early post with a recent one.
- Seasonal sets for holidays, weather changes or local festivals.
- Countdown posts before a big project or new set goes live.
- A month-end recap of everything you posted, with your personal favorite.
Theme 5: Your story and personality
People subscribe to a person, not just pictures. Good storytelling turns casual fans into loyal ones.
- How you started creating and what first inspired you.
- Goals for this year and how fans can follow along.
- Things that inspire you right now: music, places, colors or artists.
- A lesson you learned from a project that didn’t go to plan.
- Your favorite piece of work and why it matters to you.
- A short written update about what’s coming next month.
Turn one session into several posts
You don’t need a new shoot for every idea. One session can cover a week if you plan ahead:
- the finished set as your main subscriber post
- a behind-the-scenes post from the same day
- a quick tip about how you got one of the shots
- a Q&A post asking fans what to shoot next
Keep a small backlog of ready posts for busy weeks. It’s the easiest way to stay above the posting minimum without stress.
Keep every post safe and on brand
A few rules from eXantria’s Terms of Service and FAQ keep your content in good standing:
- Keep public and unlocked posts suitable for everyone.
- Make your subscriber posts new. The FAQ doesn’t allow reposting content from your other social accounts and charging fans for it.
- Don’t advertise other channels inside eXantria. Only use the social media links in your profile settings.
- Post clear, good-quality images. eXantria may remove low-quality or blurred images.
- Price fairly. Posts with excessive pricing may be removed. Our guide to pricing your subscription can help.
If you want to offer something extra on top of your subscription, eXantria lets you add perks such as private messaging or custom content for an additional fee. You can also create paid posts for special sets.
Build your own idea bank
Ideas come at random times, so catch them. Keep a running list in your phone’s notes or a notebook, and add to it whenever something sparks an idea. Once a month, check which posts got the most likes and messages, and add more ideas in that direction.
Start with three ideas today
Pick one idea from three different themes above and write them into next week’s plan. That’s your next week of posts sorted. If you’re not on eXantria yet, the sign-up card at the end of this article shows you where to start.
